Attorney, Former Judge, Whistleblower, and American Patriot

April Teniade Ademiluyi, a native of Prince George’s County and a product of its public school system, epitomizes the fusion of unwavering commitment to public service with an ardent dedication to legal representation and social justice advocacy. Her formative years at the University of Maryland College Park, completed through the esteemed early enrollment program, culminated in the acquisition of a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, setting the stage for a career distinguished by a dynamic blend of legal expertise and principled representation. April Ademiluyi's entry into public service began as an Engineer with the U.S. Coast Guard, where she harnessed her skills in the service of the nation.

In 2020, April transitioned to a new chapter of her public service journey, assuming the role of Maryland judge in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. It took her four years and three election cycles to win her seat on a court where MD judges and politicians were taking bribes from prison contractors to incarcerate children, targeting those from low-income families. Throughout her campaign, April promised voters she would work with law enforcement to end corruption on the court. True to her word, upon becoming a judge, she took decisive action. April’s experience as a whistleblower attorney came with numerous dangers, including death threats, an attempt on her life, financial distress, and ongoing harassment; but it was all worth it for her to fight against the two-tiered system of justice in that court.

April’s election as a Judge marked a seminal moment in her career, empowering her to preside over civil, family, and criminal cases, thus perpetuating her unwavering commitment to justice and fairness. Her jurisprudential acumen and steadfast dedication to the principles of equity and justice made a profound impact on the legal landscape, reinforcing her stature as a compassionate and fair-minded legal arbiter.

At the core of April's ethos is a profound belief in the privilege of serving the public good. A proud alumna of the George Mason University School of Law, she promptly established the Law Office of April T. Ademiluyi, showcasing her unwavering commitment to pro bono work and advocacy for the marginalized. April actively engaged with legal organizations such as Civil Justice to support the welfare of underserved communities. Notably, her tireless efforts in fighting foreclosures pro bono earned accolades from C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger, U.S. Congressman for the 2nd Congressional District of Maryland, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the field.

Cutting across socioeconomic strata, April has successfully represented a diverse clientele, from low-income Maryland residents to international corporations—a testament to her expertise and unwavering dedication. Her expansive practice spans a broad spectrum of legal disciplines, including real estate, bankruptcy, intellectual property, and personal injury cases, consolidating her position as a versatile and principled legal advocate.

April’s journey is a testament to the transformational power of unwavering commitment to public service, legal advocacy, and community engagement.

Complementing her professional achievements, April finds fulfillment in her engagement with Zion Church alongside her passions for culinary arts and competitive boxing and kickboxing.
